I'm currently using a Antec HCG 620M psu

Just ordered MSI GTX 670 as a replacement for my GTX 560

Is the psu strong enough to run the 670 with the 560 for physx

what about an addition of ssd later on?

Thanks in advance

I hate thread titles with "Expert help" or similar, and so my disclaimer is that I am not inferring I am such...but:

An SSD will pull bugger all so that is no problem - I'm assuming the Antec you mentioned is the High Current Gamer-M 620, in which case it will run both of those GPUs without issue - however for more overclocking room you may wish to step up a tad, but that PSU is by no means a light weight thumb.gif

thx for the reply and I change the thread for ya redface.gif

if I refrain from ocing the gpu's then that will be safer then or can I get away with ocing the 670 and leave the 560 stock?

This would probably work well if you overclock the 670. Kelper is a far more efficient architecture than Fermi. That being said, overclocking the 670 a bit won't dramatically increase it's power consumption (limited by voltage lock anyways). Where as Fermi based cards can use quite a bit more power when overclocked/overvolted. As long as you don't do anything too extreme, that PSU will be fine thumb.gif

You could run dual 670's on that PSU and be completely fine (albeit without the 560 for physx, maybe). Also most SSD's barely draw a watt of power, so it's not even worth factoring in for power consumption.
