[Woot] Gunnar Gaming Glasses (various) - from $30-60[Deal Ended] - Page 2

They work and are good but if you're planning to do some video/photo related stuff with it then don't. It have an amber tint and Woot doesn't sell the clear lens Gunnar yet which is available on their homepage. Also price tag is just for the frame (design), lens quality are all the same tinted or not.

I ordered a pair of the stylus. I do a lot of word processing and document reviewing at work so we'll see.

They only work ok for me. I might need an eye exam, but mine only cut down on the eye fatigue a little. For example, I can play for 3 hrs straight 2 nights in a row, but on the second night my eyes are starting to hurt a bit. It's not unbearable like before but they still sting a bit. It has alleviated the redness quite a bit though. It's only on FPS...maybe I should think about blinking once in a while.

Are you using contacts? I had a issue with not blinking when playing video games, mainly FPS as well. Though Gunnars pretty much solved this issue.

If I buy one of these frames and replace the lenses with prescription lenses, would any place like LensCrafters be able to do the yellow tint that reduces eye fatigue or do I have to order direct from Gunnar for that?

Just get f.lux. It does the same thing but it's free and you don't need to wear glasses.

Definitely not the same. I said the same exact thing before I got a pair. f.lux also only works for your desktop IIRC.

I'm on the computer most of the day. I have constant red eyes and I believe this will help. Thanks for posting!

I am not using contacts. Every non eye doctor eye test I take puts me at perfect vision. I just need to learn to relax my eyes more redface.gif
