Would you get this tablet over an Android one?

So, basically (you'll see why this release to AMD shortly) I was strongly considering a Android tablet. My GF's said we need to get one so she can read her books on it which is license enough for me to get one (yay, finally).

My first reaction was "Nexus 7 time" quad core Tegra 3 etc, should be matching my phone in performance. But she said it's too small at 7" and wants a bigger one.

So, we started looking around. She had eyes on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. I on the other hand wanted an Asus Transformer Prime TF201 (again, Quad core, Tegra 3).

Then I came across this:

http://www.ebuyer.com/259179-acer-iconia-w500-tablet-pc-le-rhc02-045

AMD C50 Dual Core processor 1GHz
2GB DDR3 RAM
32GB SSD
10.1"TFT WXGA LED 1280 x 800
AMD Radeon GMA 6250
Wireless LAN 802.11b/g + Draft-n,
3-cell (4hours) Li-ion,
Dimensions
Length 275 mm
Width 190 mm
Height 16 mm
Weight 1.58kg
2 x USB,
1 x HDMI,
Ethernet (RJ-45) port
2- in-1 Multi-in-cardreader,
Camera 1.3MP CrystalEye front & back

And it runs Windows 7. I'd love to stick Windows 8 on this thing and get a super cheap Windows 8 tablet (I have some keys for Win 8).

I'm stuck between a Transformer Prime and this thing. On the one hand, this is a full Windows tablet which is awesome, on the other I have a lot of apps for Android.

I don't know man, the reviews on newegg are pretty mixed. Personally, I'd stick with a android personally. It reminds me of when Netbooks were shipping with 8GB SSDs and you couldn't do much with them. I feel that android is the only OS for Tablets and phones, an I'd rather get a device with a Dev community around it over a niche win 7 tablet.

The reviews on ebuyer say it runs Win8 no problems, though, which if I were to buy I would definitely be putting that on it. It also has an sd card slot which I'd use for storage. 32GB sd cards are super, super cheap.
