Help me choose a gaming monitor!

Thread Starter
Right now I have 2 VW246H Asus Monitors (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236049). These are pretty decent monitors since they're 24", 1080p, and great ms. However, when I play games the graphics look a little washed out. Also, when I hook my xbox up to it (through hdmi) the colors look kinda blurry/ghosted. I'd like to add another monitor to my setup specifically for gaming that will look amazing. My criteria is only that its 24" and not super expensive (400+). What are some suggestions for gaming monitors? sidenote: when I hook my computer up to my tv it looks way better than the monitor (samsung 40" 1080p tv).

Let me know if I need to include any more information, thanks!

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824014270

A bit pricey but arguably the best "gaming" monitor, at least for FPS games.

Also nice: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236092

Basically if you want a true gaming monitor, aim for 120Hz+.

They are all high resolution so its actually smaller then others in its class..but I went from 24 to 27 and I'm glad I did even at 1080..its all about the quality of the screen
