EK screws up again

After waiting for EK's cooling configurator to confirm that my card was compatible with their waterblock and bracket I went ahead and ordered the parts. I own a PowerColor AMD HD 7850 2GB AX7850 2GBD5-2DH. The waterblock and back plate fit the card just fine however the 7970 I/O Bracket which according to their website is visually compatible with my video card IS NOT compatible, the ports DO NOT line up. Just a heads up to all of you who may have been considering purchasing the 7970 I/O Bracket from EK for your 7850/70. Time to attempt to contact EK (Likely to fail as they never reply to anything I've sent them over the years) and attempt to cut down my current 7850's bracket into a single slot (Going to end ugly)

Cool. One thing you need to realize is that card manufacturers will make small changes to their products and sometimes it will conflict with 3rd party accessories/cooling/etc. without the 3rd party getting information about it. It's quite possible there isn't an issue with some versions of the card.

Good point... For those of you interested in this issue, I bought my card the day they came out so these I/O brackets are not compatible with the original version, but if there are newer revisions they may or may not work I do not know.
