I'd go for one with less bling (and no LED fans) that will also be quieter and less obvious (disappear into the furniture so to speak)
Fractal Design makes classy cases that are generally quiet and reasonable as far as price goes. Lian-Li are nice too, but expensive.
Hope you also heed the advice about the TT PSU, get a Corsair or something close.

Actually I am kind of second guessing the case and the fans can be distracting as well...but its not just about bling for me I am looking for a large full tower which has plenty of HDD bays... I store complete blurays and dvds unlike most folks with their 700 mb movie files tongue.gif So a large amount of storage space is crucial in my build since it is primarily an entertainment PC with balls...biggrin.gif
problem is there just are not that many full tower choices that appeal to me so far on newegg but still looking... the fractal,s are a little too plain for me..

The Corsair 600T and NZXT phantom are both good full towers.

4. PSU, I'd change to Seasonic, Corsair, or PCP&C.
5. Cooler, I'd stay away from the thermaltake all in one. A decent air cooler like a D14 would do great. If you're absolutely set on all in one water cooler then go with antec kuhler series or corsair H series (H60+). If you want something more than that then I'd suggest the XSPC Rasa kits, cpu only loop would need either a 120 or 240 kit.
6. SSD, this one is great but take note that the 840 is coming out this month that has even better performance. Either way I'd wait because the new ones will be available and the 830 series will drop in price.
7. RAM, I've always liked Corsair but feel iffy about their Vengeance series for some reason. Plus you can get CAS9 memory for around the same price, I would look around a bit more.
8. Burner, good.
9. GPU, I've been hearing that a lot of NVidia cards have been coming with their voltages locked lately, if that matters to you then I'd be cautious. If not then only thing I can suggest in this area is to buy a card with an aftermarket cooler like Lightning, Windforce, and Direct CUII
Great list for a first build! I wish you luck with putting it together and don't forget to ask questions if you have any. thumb.gif

On the TT water 2.0 pro it is the best in its class, you need to do some research. Its beating out corsair and every one else, also they are very efficient and quiet.thumb.gif

cool thanks for all the tips guys....hey what do you guys think of AZZA cases? Im very enthralled by the FUSION 3000 model due to the huge hard drive capacity.....biggrin.gif 8X 3.5" hard drives of which 6 are hotswappable and then a bay for 4X2.5" ssd,s thats pretty impressive for a digital horder like myself... 1 review said a few negative things about it but Im really liking the look and HDD capacity.... however not a fan of the louvre vents on the top.....argghhhh why is it so damn hard to find an ideal case??????lol

Case and PSU are meh. I'd go with a Rosewill Challenger case (Great Air-flow, I have one for my build. Plus its only $49.99) As for the PSU, get a quality PSU such as a Corsair. For your build Id go with something like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139021. Everything else looks good! biggrin.gif

the corsair sticker on the side is hideous...big bright yellow text in my build is exactly what i dont want...tongue.gif im sure its a great psu but until its stylish like the tt tough grand series its not finding a home in my rig....why is it you guys all seem to dislike the thermaltake psu? despite the fact i could not find any negative reviews of this series... also the rosewill challenger is a mid tower... thus not meeting my desire for a full tower....just sayin...

If the sticker were all that were holding you back, the come off with very little effort, leave no residue, and look clean afterwards. Also, there is someone on here who makes custom stickers for corsair psus in a variety of colors and styles. Just an option since the sticker seems to be holding you up.

Can anyone recommend a psu that is going to adorn the black powdercoat finish and red accents to match the sabertooth board? this psu is going to be hard to top in the asthetic department though i know that should not be my soul reason for considering it....it just looks like it belongs with the sabertooth.

on another note still no replies on the azza case I mentioned?
