Help me build a gaming computer for $300

Ok, you've probably had a good laugh after reading the title. BUT, the thing is, I already have 8 gigs of ram, a hard drive, and windows 7. All I need is a motherboard, a powersupply, processor, and a graphics card, and I'll be set. All I'm looking for is playing games like Battlefield 3 on "High", not even max. So I'd appreciate if you could help me out.

I can even go to $350, so I'd appreciate all the help. Plus, I'm not the best at assembling computers, so yea smile.gif

replace the PSU with http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371030&Tpk=antec%20520 cheaper and better quality.

Also OP can buy a used 6870 for around 100 at the OCN marketplace.

Awesome, thank you. I will definitely go check that out. But I'm going to wait for a bit more responses so I can compare that with the rest of them. Thanks again thumb.gif
