Here is a picture of a primer gray case next to a black and white one. The primer is not a cosmetic finish, but doesn't actually look too bad.

That gray reminds me of the old IBM Towers of the mid 90's. Both in color and the fact that the could probably take small arms fire without damaging the innards.
