Tri SLI GTX 570s only shown as 2 way SLI, but detects all cards

So here's my setup:
Intel i7 3770
ASRock Z77 Extreme6
16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz
3x EVGA 570GTX SuperClocked
Cougar 1050w Power Supply
Cooler Master Cosmos 2 Ultra

I just finished installing the third 570 today. Everything booted up fine, and there weren't any problems at all. So I went into the Nvidia control panel to enable tri SLI, and when I enabled SLI, it just shows this:

It detects all of the cards, but only says that two of them are in SLI and uses my 3rd card as the dedicated Physx card. When I play games, the 3rd card isn't used at all since the control panel doesn't use it.

Now I will be mounting 2 more monitors to my desk soon so I'll have a tri-screen setup. When I plug another monitor into the 3rd card, will it then be used? Otherwise, what could be the problem and how can I fix it? I tried searching the problem on Google for quite some time and never found any solutions or other people with the same problem. Also, my motherboard does support Tri-SLI. Thanks for reading this!

Silly question but you are using a 3 way sli bracket or are connecting them all correctly, right?

I looked at the accessories for the Extreme6, and it appears (correct me if I'm wrong) that there is no tri-SLI bridge included with the motherboard. You'll have to buy one, although they come quite cheap. Alternatively, you can use multiple dual-SLI bridges, but it just doesn't looks good.

I'm using a 3 Way SLI bridge that's meant for the motherboard I'm using, and yes, it's connected correctly.

I actually just thought of that right before you posted. I'll try that and then post my results.

yep, and if that didnt work still I would suggest that you might have an issue with SLI bridge, wont harm to try a different bridge if you are able to get another one.

trying the software (drivers) first is the right thing to do before jumping into changing hardware

From a quick read of the specs looks like extreme 6 only support sli with 2 x gpu, so sli or quad sli w/dual gpu. You can still have a card in the x4 slot, but no tri sli.

According to the ASrock sight it supports QUAD SLI so I imagine it would support tri-SLI then.

Quad sli with 2 x dual gpus like 690s. But still limited to 2 x cards for sli.
