Anyone take their mech to the office?

Thread Starter
So i pulled the trigger and ran over to mem express and picked up the Razer Blackwidow (vanilla) + Spektre mouse for $50 and I am loving it! Already purchased custom ESDF keys from WASDKeyboards.com

Im wondering if anyone else take their keyboard to office? Its a busy environment so i dont think itll be too much of an annoyance, it is a bit on the loud side (Cherry Blue) so i may buy dampeners but we'll see..

i wonder how much ill loathe my membrane keyboard at work

I do not have an office. My girlfriend used to get aggravated when our computers were in the same room.

I have found, that going back to membrane, feels like mush, its hard to explain exactly what I mean. Its like pushing into 1/4" of angel food cake, and then slamming your finger onto your desk, thinking you had more play in your actuation.

After seeing this and using my new Blackwidow Ultimate for over a week now, I tried pressing my buttons on my membrane keyboard and that description seems spot on. I never realised how mushy the membrane keys were until I just did that. Never going to buy another membrane board again.

On topic: You should give it a go. Worst thing that happens they make you go back to your regular keyboard because they are jealous.thumb.gif

I'm a brick layer. My tool is a trowel.

HaHa, though if I were to work in an office I believe I would use one there. Just not a model m.
