Hey guys, I've decided to build a PC themed after Calvin and Hobbes. I loved reading the comics and wanted to do a small tribute to the characters. The Bitfenix Prodigy seemed appropriate because of its size and name! I'll be using an original color scheme
of red/white/black with yellow/white lighting. This will be my third overall PC built (first build log), my second WC loop, and my first attempt at sleeving a PSU. I'll most likely modify the mesh side into a window, and add a stencil somewhere. This will be a counterpart to my Switch 810 build Hobbes.

- *Case: Bitfenix Prodigy
- CPU: i3 2120
- Motherboard: Gigabyte H61N
- *Memory: Patriot Viper 8gb
- Storage: G. Skill Phoenix 120gb SSD (Heh)
- GFX: MSI 6970 2gb
- *PSU: Antec Basiq 500w
- WC Loop: *XSPC Raystorm, RS240, MCP355, MicroRes
My total out of pocket cost thus far is $448, not including the Raystorm which I already own. I still need to buy a block for the 6970, paracord, and acrylic for the window.
** I'd like to have used an itx board with built-in wifi, but simply didn't have the funds to reach that point. The SSD was purchased because of the price and size, otherwise I would have opted for a 320gb HDD or a more reputable 128gb SSD.

Most parts have been purchased. Will receive everything except the loop and SSD tomorrow.
Painted the PSU red, instead of it's original metal color.
Bought an ATX pin removal tool, and spent the better part of an hour looking around my house for something to remove the pins from the 4-pin molex (which I eventually found).
No pictures as of yet, but will upload some tomorrow.
Having camera problems, will have to delay by one more day, sorry!

Painted Red PSU

Super discount Gigabyte ITX. Listing said it was denied an RMA because of bent pins.

Attempted to realign the pins, CPU mounted.

Probably not the best way to test, but it fired up
We'll see if it posts! (Click to show)

Got the case!

Swapped the stock cooler for the Raystorm

Placing the mobo, sizing things up. Will most likely remove all drive cages and ODD bay.

Got some red paracord!
