Crossfire The Sapphire Radeon HD 6770 or sell and get a better card instaed?

like the title says.

-exemple of games i play: shogun totalwar 2, warhammer 40K 2, tera online MMO and other little FPS's
-i play them in 1680x1050 but may plan to go 1920x1080 later but that is optional.
-i play one a single monitor and do not plan to add more ever.
- some games are doing fine, not perfect and some i play just on avrige or great presettings like tera can skip a frame from time to time.
- i do not however plan to spend more then 200 euro (about 230 USD) on it. and sins i still have to buy more then just the card every discount counts.

if you have any moe questions feel free to ask.

thanks a lot.

Ps: to crossfire, do they have to be from the same manifacturer (sapphire for me) or just in the same 67xx series (in my case)?

Sell it and get a 7850. They are cheap and overclock like beasts at stock voltage

EDIT: 200€ is like 230$

They just have to be the same model. ie 6770-6770, 7870-7870 for crossfire.
I had my 5770 xfired for a while with pretty good success. In synthetic benchmarks i was hittting somewhere near a 6950-6970 score.
Just a suggestion try to find one with a non reference cooler (2 fans or similar, not the red box) and run that in the top slot because th top card will get warm and if the fan suck you will notice it.

but going from 1GB G-DDR5 HD6770 to 1GB G-DDR5 but different series like the HD7850 will change anything?
cause i can only find 3 GB ones in wich case it is logic that you had a huge improvement. but the cheapest ones in your range is 280 euro.
yes that is the reason why i had a huge improvement.. but you cant find any 2GB 7850's
i know your not in the US but this link is for reference.. if you can find a 2GB 7850 in your price range where you are and shop from i would go for that. they can OC like monsters smile.gif
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&N=-1&isNodeId=1&Description=HD7850&x=18&y=11

and not the HD7950, that would probably be out of your price range

get a HD 7850. much better than HD 6770 CF. also scales brilliantly with overclocking. At 1 Ghz matches GTX 570 and at 1.2+ Ghz matches a GTX 580. which country are you from . try to see if prices are within your budget. in the US the HD 7850 2 GB sells for 190 - 230.
