Lastly, the LCD screen. Yes I said the LCD screen. Most people scoff at it and say it's just useless. For the most part they are correct, but I can't tell you how nice it is to always be able to see the current time regardless of what it is I am doing. Sure I could just get an actual clock to set on my desk but honestly I'm fairly picky with my desk and can't stand to have much on it at all.
Mechanical keys I would love to have b/c they are supposedly so much nicer to type on. I've never typed on one though and what I have feels nice enough so it's kind of one of those things where I'm content to simply not know any better.
Now if a mechanical board comes out that has the above two features I'll be on it like white on rice.
Don't forget things like-
1. MSI Afterburner/EVGA Precision statistics
2. Game profile changing for Macros/Mouse buttons without having to alt-tab
3. Being able to play games with a smaller/no UI thanks to some of them having built in support for important stats.
4. Built in FPS counter with fraps integration so with the touch of a button you can benchmark, record, display fps, etc
People give Logitech too much needless flac for internet cred, but I'd be lying if I said this keyboard wouldn't get me back to them.
