Cooler Master Extreme 550W for Gtx 560ti

Thread Starter
I'm building a pc for my cousin biggrin.gif
I'm trying to make it entirely like my own pc.Specs:

i5-2400 @ 3.1Ghz
4gb Corsair Vengeace Ram.
2tb HDD x2
1 DVD-RW Sony.
1gb Nvidia Gtx 560ti.

The thing is, I have Seasonic sii- 520W PSU which have 40A @ +12V

My cousin is short on some money for the PSU so I was thinking of going with a cheaper Cooler master Extreme 550W which have only 18A @ +12V rail.

will the gtx 560ti be good running good on that cooler master PSU or will we be having problems?

__

He is not a extreme type gamer and his monitor is just like mine with max resolution of 1600x900 {He won't be buying a new monitor anytime soon}

Thank you for your time reading this biggrin.gif

I can buy online from: http://www.flipkart.com/
newegg and amazon dont ship stuff to my address frown.gif

Budget being 3500 INR.

I was thinking to just fit in a gtx 550ti instead of 560ti if that would be enough for him since he will be gaming on single monitor @ 1600x900

That being said, Thank you Original Sin.Cooler Master 550W is OUT.

The Antec 450W have 2 +12V rail with 18A
the cooler master I talked about above have 1 +12V rail @ 18A but is 550W.
So the Antec one is better?

I'll go with that seasonic, thanks biggrin.gif

200INR is less than $4

I'll go with that but curious as how these 3 are better than the cooler master 550W one redface.gif

The PSU is built with low quality parts, and is most likely not putting out the wattage it says it is. 12v x 18A only comes out to 216 watts. yeahh....

Just get the seasonic. You wont regret it. Its 408 watts just on the 12v rail. Very good PSU.

The seasonic destroys the others in its price range.
