currently my cpu is running at 3.6ghz and nb freq at 2.4ghz.

voltage on the cpu is at 1.380 and the nb voltage is 1 notch above standard.

The cpu is a c2 stepping but im just concerned my vrm's are going to overheat as there are no heatisnks on them,.

The system is 100% stable though, did about 10 hours of burn test. Cpu temp only gets to 52c max.

im at 4ghz with 2600 nb and im fine with no sinks just have air flow through u case, i even did without airflow as i used water and was still ok depend your mobo i think

If you are concerned then put some vga ram heatsinks on them. It's not a perfect solution, but it will help a lot. The heatsinks don't fit perfectly on the vrm's, but just try to cover as many as you can.

This is not a "fix" for insufficient power phase design for overclocking by any means, but it is better than nothing.

yeh i know what your saying.
I just have a look and on my board there are 5 black blocks with what looks like a capacitor in between each block.

when i sink them do i need to make sure the sink iis in contact with the caps aswel or just the black blocks?

The MOSFETs highlighted in red need heatsinks. You don't really have to worry about anything else.

Those are the chokes.

You could always put a fan over the VRMs since active cooling is better than passive anyway.

Get some form of cooling ASAP since the Hyper 212+ is a tower cooler that removes additional airflow to the 'fets which the stick cooler provides.
