AMD APU + Discrete Card

I want to build a very compact media/light gaming computer: possibly using this case:

Rosewill R379-M

It comes with an oddly sized 300w psu...
I am wondering if this could power the new AMD a10-5800k crossfired with an AMD HD 6670 or HD 7670 when that becomes available...

from my understanding the APU draws just over 100w under load and the 6670 draws around 45-50 under load.
The rig would also use a 128GB SSD and a dvd writer

What do you guys think?

I've been meaning to ask nearly the same question. How big of a psu would it take to power an A 10 5800k rig ? I have several old psu's that are good , but just didn't have the power for the upgrades people wanted so I " inherited" them. I'm looking for a way to put them to use - maybe they would work in htpc's using the new apu's? Several units to choose from , but I'm looking to use up some 400 watt thermaltakes.

crossfire with an APU just doesn't seem to be there yet. I think you are better off just sticking with the APU, or getting a CPU and dedicated GPU

I have mixed feelings about it as well but looking at recent tests and numbers it is something that may be worth the extra $60 for the discrete.

Regardless, I am not looking for advice on what to do with my rig, i just want to know if this 300w small form factor power supply can power an apu, low end card, ssd, and dvd drive.

it could probably run, but for how long? i don't trust noname psu sold with case
