Wow the last post was made over a week ago lol. Im still enjoying this game and getting my moneys worth. I have joined a very fun and mature clan.

They just did a patch tuesday that changed alot of things.
For one they now have an anti cheat that is helping with hackers and all bans from this point on are permanent.
Toxicity has been added back, so you can get infected from zombies and will have to cure yourself with a vaccine or face death.
No more server hopping, well you can. If you log into a server and then log out and back into another one without being logged off for at least 10min the server will move you to a random location relatively close to where you logged out at. About 10-15min walk from what i can tell
They have doubled the amount of spawn points on the map, mainly due to the new server hopping fix
Flashlights can now be turned on and off with "F" and every new character will spawn with a flashlight no matter what
Flare Gun has been added
Alighments have been reset...there are now 6 new levels of bandit and 6 new levels of good alignment
Once you reach a certain bandit level you will be unable to reverse that alignment and will have to delete that character if you want to go good

Also, one of the biggest changes. They have finally added nameplates when aiming at a player within a certain distance from you. Their name and alignment will show you, so now you can tell if they are bad or good.

Their were some other minor additions/changes to the client but thats it for the most part.

Well you can always go play hardcore mode, if you think nameplates are truly for softies. But there are going to be nameplates on the hardcore servers so I guess youre a softie whether you like it or not, since its happening regardless lol. Plus its not like i can see your nameplate from 500yds out, you have to be within 50 meters i think.

Basically its nice to not be KOS by everyone now that you can see if someone si friendly. With the 6 new levels of good and bad as well, friendly people want to actually remain friendly in fear of earning a bad title, and obviously killing on sight is going to earn you bandit. Then once you get so far down the bandit road there is no turning back, you would have to delete your character.

Friendly players will actually be able to trust other players with a friendly nameplate for once. before it was a guessing game at who you were running into when aiming at them gave you no indication of who he was on the server or if he was even the guy you were talking to in proximity chat.

I meant softie as in "people who need a crutch or a helping hand"

I think that is one of many reasons why this game has failed. They are catering to the baddies and once a dev team starts doing that, the game is doomed

yeah I hear what you are saying. I dont think this dev team is really catering to anyone since they dont seem to even care about the state of the game lol.

The server hopping deterent is actually quite nice too, not having to worry about so many people hopping inside campos or a certain building in clearview.
The nameplates though, have really cut down on alot of people killing on sight which is nice. Seems like ive started killing more players though ever since they came out lol.

Im just glad they are showing an effort to regularly pach this game and add new things. I almost swore the game off a while back cuz they seemed like they didnt give an f about it anymore.

I agree with KhaoticKomputing. Game was/is worth the 25$ that I payed. And your right @ACHILEE5 All they needed was to inform them it was a beta.

The issue now is the fact they are banning anyone that was reported via fairfight. If you kill someone and they fairfight you, then you will be banned. I'm glad I haven't played this game in months. What a joke. Letting the community try to clean up hackers. Everyone knows people cry hacker if they die. I'm glad I started playing CS:Go again.

I've been following this game for almost 6 months now. Is it worth buying? All Day Z bias aside, is the game fun and worth dealing with the amount of hackers that I keep reading about? I also am curious what kind of future content Hammerpoint is planning (if any). I've been browsing through the forums and their Facebook without any luck.

Personally I don't regret my purchase at all! its an intense game that really get's the blood flowing. It is best to find a guild or group to play with, solo play is freaking hard!

Thanks. If I decide to buy it that is what I'm planning on doing.
