So the other day I got some cheap speakers for my computer. They have blue LEDs which matches the color of my case and such. While they are cool to look at I did not want them to stay on and I am too lazy to reach down behind the Sub and flip the switch. So I had an idea, with some parts I figured I could make a power strip that would turn on when I turn the computer on and turn off when I turn my computer off.
After waiting a couple of days I recieved a box from Amazon. I already had started when I took this picture.

After about 30 min or so I had this ugly looking thing put together. And it works!

I am still working on how to make it look better and hide the relay, might have to cut a hole in the power strip but at this moment I am happy with the results.
Any suggestions out there??
Edit:
Did some mods and found something that I think looks better even though it will be sitting behind a desk.
