hello again everyone! well im thinking about upgrading my display but im not sure which route to take. so im currently using a 32inch flat screen tv, 60hz, 1360x768 native (32bit color depth) that i got a number of years ago on black friday only cause it was cheap. i started gaming a bit more recently and wonder which way i should go for an upgrade, i know monitors often have better pixel response, better resolution, faster hz(i think thats how you would say it) but generally smaller unless you spend a crap ton of money. Where as from what ive seen a large tv can be on par price wise as a killer monitor. so which way should i go everyone? price is something ill determine after i pick either tv or monitor. thanks again to everyone who responds or takes the time to read this.

I honestly love this cooler, but I think I'm gonna move on to another one soon, it just looks... A bit to bland compared to other flaming red (literally) coolers on the market.

Rule #1 in Monitor buying... DO NOT BUY A "TN" PANEL!!!!! Anything but "TN"! For a gamer coming from a tv, i would suggest a 27" IPS or PLS panel at 1920x1080.
For color accuracy, and amazing color reproduction ($$$$): ASUS PB Series PB278Q (PLS)
For respectable features ($$): BenQ EW2730 (VA)
For a good, all around choice ($): ASUS VE278Q (TFT)
If you want a TV, don't get one. Even though it is smaller, you will be much happier with one of these monitors.
