[PCMag] Logitech's Windows 8 Peripherals Touch Down - Page 2

OP, you should probably have learned by now that most people have jumped on the IH8WIN8 bandwagon and to avoid being ridiculed, I would stop posting anything positive about Win8. Many of us like the new interface and products like this look like a good thing. It's called innovation, and I'm all for it. Sure it's not going to be loved by everyone, but that's their opinion. It's kinda sad that when you post something like this all you get is bashed, even though the product might work very well. I think MS has a mouse coming out that does this same thing and is also aimed at making touch gestures work from the mouse surface itself instead of having to touch your screen (provided you have a touchscreen).

Funny how before Windows 8 actually came out TONS of people were modding their UI to look like W8. In fact, the W8 mods were some of the most popular. Ironic I think...

Hey look! Lots of people don't agree with me, so they must be on a bandwagon!rolleyes.gif

I've had nothing but disdain for Metro since its first unveil. It's an awful UI with zero use as a full-scale desktop UI. Forcing it on everyone is not going to be received well by many people, including myself. If you like it, good for you, but quit acting like your opinion is better than anyone else's. The bandwagon comments are childish and pedantic.

would count a little bit of insulting but I am used to people not accepting other people's opinions over the internet.

It is strictly my opinion about that hardware but it was misinterpreted.

Let me first say that I really like the Windows 8 OS and I have been using it for about a month now (I will not get in the reason for which I love it).

Also if Microsoft actually desides to close it's enviroment and sell apps only through their store, then I'm immediately switching to Linux.

Lastly I said that the hardware look really great because logitech released something that keeps up with the advancement of stuff and something like that could be really useful in windows 8 but I would never buy these, I am as productive as I want to be in Windows 8 and I prefer my R.A.T. 7

My bad. There was no direct bashing of the OP, just the run of the mill counter opinions of the Win8 UI that pops up on each and every post related to it, which now includes hardware I guess. I keep looking for the "notify me when someone posts something related to W8" tab on these forums but I can't find it. I guess some people do nothing but have a search and destroy mentality for stuff. Do you post stuff like this on the Apple forums too? Super constructive. Sorry, just tired of seeing all the hate when people post stuff that some of us would actually enjoy. Still makes me laugh when people say this is being shoved down their throat. No one is making you purchase it. Vote with your wallet.
