@ Ino

I would not have had this discussion if abyssus had the 2x side buttons. Abyssus would most likely have been my mouse of choice.

@ last 2 posts

I dont really dislike the deathadder grip or ship, I just feel I like the other grips on other mice better.

If that wasnt the case: Deathadder being heavy and maybe problems with, grib, i had bought it undoubtely.

And I yet still remanin thinking.

I would take the Zowie AM-GS over the Deathadder since it weighs 88 g (without cord) vs 148 g (without cord). Atleast for me, being a RTS gamer, less weight (and thus less friction) means i can move around quickly with so much more ease. Im honestly never going to use a mouse above 90 g from now on (i just cant go back^^).

I just played with a deathadder 3.5g and there is no doubt its huge size and weight is a considerable problem. I have changed my priorities so far. I am actually not sure if I weigh 2x mouse-buttons over abyssus' low weight.

Has anyone seen or heard of potential problems with the abyssus?

JITTER !!!!!!! smile.gif Dunno if it is still a problem now but usually when it comes to the abyssus you read about the jitter problem everywhere. There are rumours that it is possible to get one without jitters but then again it is also possible to win the lottery wink.gif

I think I have decided to go with abyssus given its so small and weighs so little.

I will buy it and test it. Its not that I die if i dont like it

I actually bought 2 abyssues recently (League of legends version, I bought 2 so i could keep the one i found better and return the other one, the place i bought from lets one return a protuct as long as it has not been used too much, they were almost identical though and i kept one of them) and neither of them had jitter issues on my razer sphex mousepad (i only used them at 1800 dpi and 1000 Hz though, did not try any other dpi level/setting), from what i can recall ive read that soft mousemats can be more problematic when it comes to abyssus jitter.

We will see. I will test the abyssus for some days and, if i dislike it, return if possible and try a CM mouse instead. Hwoever I dont believe this will be necessary at all unless the abyssus has tracking issues.

If you like the abyssus maybe you should look at my little analysis for the Genius Maurus.

For me feels like an abyssus with sidebuttons.

It definitely looks promising, but the part with the extra 20g of weight. doesnt and the fact it weighs more than the spawn doesnt really convience its superiority in comparison to the abyssus. I really want the most light weight mouse ever made.

The lightest gaming mice would be the ninox velocity, zowie mico, razer abyssus, kinzu v2 and logitech g9x without grips. If you want light mouse stay away from the Deathadder
