Hey guys, so i just rebuilt my sig rig and currently .. its having a problem, ill admit its a bit of a pain to take appart and put back together (takes about 6 hours disassemble/ assemble +24 hour leak test) so im trying to avoid taking appart the least amount i can. redface.gif

Anyways i was running the rig making sure all my programs are up etc, ran about 5 min of Planetside 2, screen froze and shut it down (no bluescreen ). Current issue is the rig wont post, screen wont wake up from sleep and it will **** itself down with in 10-20 seconds. hmm, i was thinking maybe a heating issue, i reset the bios , but any ideas of what i should try, or what i could be before having to disassemble the rig again?

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated biggrin.gif

Is this the sugo sg05 build, because I can sympathize with how incredibly difficult it can be to work on? Maybe if you can get into the bios, look and see if your temps are high within the bios.

Also, I think you spelled shut wrong tongue.gif

Well god, I am sorry I dont know what to tell you, if you would have gotten the other motherboard, the asrock z77e itx I could probably help a little more. And I still laugh about when I put together my sg05 build and had to take it apart and reassemble the whole day. It takes about 2 hours for me to strip it down and the same to put it back together right. I was incredibly worn out by the end of the day tongue.gif I have done a lot of cable management in mine so it helps.

I hope you fix your problems, are you sure any of your hardware isnt defective?

Blahh, last i tested it was fine, the system has been down for about 10 days prior to me putting it back together sitting infront of the tv. Maybe something could have happened >_<. hah i actually had some time with the asrock board too tongue.gif Went with the Asus board because of cpu socket placement (and im a bit of a fan of the epu), but i might switch to the evga depending redface.gif . Gah yeah i remember when i had my corsair 800D I could be in and out with-in 10-30 min, big changeee (or i guess small biggrin.gif).

I guess the next step is to see if i can get to the Battery, its right under the pump though, Might be able to get it out with tweezers. My room mate is much more nimble so maybe ill ask her to give me a hand with it

Hmmm... okay she helped me take out the battery, left it out for 30 min, squeezed it back in. still no image or post. I checked to see if there are any leaks or something to short circuit, so far i dont see anything suggesting water damage or metal touching the pcbs. The system had 2 hours to cool down so doesn't seem to be a heat issue. frown.gif

Not really sure what it could be exactly at this point other then a dead motherboard? (really hope not seeing i have a project to get done next week >_< )

Anyone have any other thoughts or other things to check, greatly appreciated redface.gif
