HD 7770's in Crossfire running at different clock speeds

Thread Starter
I have two HD7770 graphics cards in Crossfire. Both are XFX Radeon HD 7770 CORE edition, running in x8x8 Crossfire.I notice that one of them (from Best Buy) is an "Ultra Overclock edition" running at 1095MHz, while the second card runs at 1000MHz. Is this known to cause problems? Should I OC the 2nd card to 1095? I notice some odd inconsistent framerates in newer games like Guild Wars 2, and occasionally, certain in-game actions cause epic FPS drops that can only be fixed by re-starting the game, and I believe the differing speeds might have something to do it.

I would sell them both them and grab a HD7850/70 or even a HD7950. It will be much better in the long run and it will consume less power and you won't have to deal with bad drivers for crossfire.

Overclock them evenly and see what happens.
