Hello,

I'm trying to modify the conf file for john the ripper on my Auditor cd, but I can't modify the file cause it says it's read only. I'm root, and the permissions look right. Whats going on??

Wow, never mind. Auditor does not allow system file changes like that. However, I already had Backtrack2 which has everything I need anyways, and it has unionfs which (at least the way I understandit) allows the system file changes.
