SOURCE

When running on the Radeon 6870, Afterburner says about 94-95% GPU usage. Mouse movement and overall OS use is laggy, similar to when Primegrid GPU units are crunching. CPU usage is about 1-3% throughout this part.

Running time is about 4 minutes. At around the 3 minute mark, BOINC says that 1 second remains, and the GPU usage % drops to 0, and the unit will run for a bit more with an entire CPU core being used.

Also, Windows Task Manager reports the GPU work unit as a 32 bit application.

These WU's finish really quickly on a 7950. Gets to about 99.5% in 40 seconds or so. It completes by about a minute and 5 seconds.

on my 6950, about 3.5-4 minute mark for completion time and like gamer said when it is hitting the GPU the OS is lagging like crazy.

Edit:
It looks like I am getting 32.5 point per result for .03hrs of work, considering we are talking about WCG here that is a lot of points. Of course that is nothing compared to any other GPU project

Ran this on both my GTX 465 and 6950 (unlocked shaders).

Run times for the 6950 were between 2 and 3 minutes.

Run times for the 465 were around the 4 - 5 minute mark

Not sure what's up, but it seems they've run out of WU's lol. I managed to get through like over 100 in a day or something with BOINCing on an off every few hours. Not bad haha. got 10k+ credits off of it.

EDIT: WU's are back. Looks like they were just updating stuff on the site, most likely hah. And apparently I've returned 280 results, quite a bit for me in such a short period of time. 79xx ftw haha.
