To start, i will post my PC specs;
ECS A885GM-A2 (V1.1) AM3 AMD 880G SATA 6Gb/s ATX AMD Motherboard
AMD Phenom II X4 960T Zosma 3.0GHz Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
LOGISYS Computer PS550ABK 550Watts ATX12V Power Supply
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
All in an Antec Three Hundred Illusion Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
320GB HDD + 500GB HDD
One day my PSU simply died. My PC was on, i left it for about 4 hours, came back and it wouldn't turn on. After i figured the PSU died, i bought a:
OCZ ModXStream Pro Power Supply - 600-Watt, Modular, Dual +12V Rails, SATA, 80Plus
After installing the PSU, i tried to start up my PC. All the fans spin, the GPU's fans spin, its not super fast or anything. It sounds pretty normal to me. I use an HDMI cable that came with the GPU, but all it gives me is a "No Signal" message. I swapped it with another cable, a DVI one i think, with an S-vid converter (It might be the other way around, i can never remember.)
So my question is this, what is the likelyhood that my PSU dying fried my GPU, and what can i do to fix it?
I really hope this ends up being a quick fix...
