ASUS P8Z77-V LK Motherboard crashed when I unplugged the ethernet cable?

Thread Starter
Just built my new system a couple days ago. It has an i7-3770k, and ASUS P8Z77-V LK motherboard. I needed to use my laptop for internet this afternoon and when I pulled the ethernet cable out of the back of my desktop, it crashed and restarted. I didn't get a chance to see what message was on the screen. Any ideas how to fix this?

Can you replicate it? If not, then there is no real concern or it could be due to something else like an unstable overclock, bad component etc...
