check out my 1k build post under build logs

http://www.overclock.net/intel-build...-1k-build.html

that should work just fine

you can change some parts around now due to changed prices

like get the open box p5b deluxe and not the ds3

etc etc....

for the case go cheaper...

its just something to go on you know...

I personally have changed it alot, need to update the post, but too lazy...

I wouldn't build around an e6400 ... there's really no diffrence between it and a e6300 except for the clock speed, and if your going to overclock anyways then why not save yourself some cash

Do you need all of the periphials. Ie..Mouse, keyboard, monitor, case ,Cd drive?

I'd change the ds3 to a p5b-e
ram change to crucial 10th anniversary ram
graphic card 7900gto.

Go with a X1950XT, best ATI card short of the XTX model (which it overclocks too) and only $270.
