Original xbox component to hdmi issue - Page 3

I knew that my monitor wouldn't like component to VGA before I purchased anything as the original xbox doesn't use VGA standards and that my monitor only supports separate syncs (I got that information about my monitor from the manual). This is why I didn't go to VGA.

Just get a cheap pcie capture card and plug the xbox cables into it then preview to the monitor... its what i did with mine. SOOO much simpler.

He could do that, but it's likely he will have a lot of input lag. Do you know of any that don't have input lag?
