As my avatar indicates, I am constantly ascending learning curves. My latest being Internet TV.
As always all my Googling has only led to confusion. Therefore, I turn to the smartest and most reliable guys in the world. You!
There is a service which I am sure all of you have heard of "Satellite TV PC Master" http://www.satellitetvpcmaster.com/
Quite frankly the design and syntax of their website scares me. It's so obviously 2nd language (yep, I speak Chinese). Not that that should be a huge problem; just that I like things that are presented in a more professional way.
Questions:
1) Is Satellite TV PC Master the one-stop-shopping alternative, i.e. the simplest way to set up internet TV and ditch my expensive Direct TV?
2) Yep, I have checked out Roku, Hulu, etc. - and don't know which way to go because all of them seem to limit me in some way.
Ideas?
Footnotes:
1) My Mom who is enjoying her "Golden Years" cannot do without the Hallmark Channel.
2) I like my Japanese channels.
3) Now I am sorry to be such a PITA. I have seen that this question has been asked and answered before on OCN. It's just that all of those threads are dead.
Sorry again for the annoyance.
