Hello all,
Thanks to a recent lack of interest in gaming, and finding I spend far too little time learning anything new, I have decided to quit Windows 7 cold turkey and to give Linux my best shot for the entire next month.
Even if I decide that I would rather use Windows at the end of the month time period, I would still like the basic knowledge of how a Linux based OS works, and get comfortable using it, even if I conclude it is just not for me. So my goal is to learn how to do at least one thing I was unable to do each day of this month.
I am hoping that I can get some replies to this thread with advice on things people feel are important to learn about Linux. Any and all advice is appreciated, and I will undoubtedly have quite a few questions. This should be an exciting learning experience. Thanks in advance to any contributors!!
