8800GTX after-market air cooling

Thread Starter
Hey all,

I have been checked out the Nvidia website and surfed the net a little, but can not find anything conclusive.

Will the VF900 fit the 8800GTX? If not what air-coolers are available?

Thanks for your time.

So far the only aftermarket cooling available are water blocks. Besides I think it would be pretty hard to make an air cooler better than the stock.

I am aware that a tuniq tower 120 is not watercooling. I want to go water at some point but not just to cool my processor. i want to cool bothe my processor and graphics card. its more worth the investment in my mind. Im very happy with my card at 650/2030 stable and cool with an additional fan blowing on the top vents and another case fan blowing directly on the side of the card.

PS: did you know anyone with the brains to invest in a TT120 might have the brains to research other advanced cooling options?

Thanx NEvolution. the danger den one is exactly wut i was looking for!

I remember someone mentioning the stock cooler has heatpipes: is this true?

I've got a 8800 in the mail, I can't wait!
