Its good if you have multiple Corsair Link components. The button does nothing for the pump settings. It just increase the fan speed.

Get a fan controller. Cheaper and no software to use.

I have this Lamptron FC8 and Im very happy with it.

I received a free Corsair Link Cooling Kit from a local promotion. It sat in one of my machines for about a week and when I took that box apart I never put the kit back in. I thought the Dashboard software was pretty cool because you can view an arrangement of your sensors and fans up against a case diagram so you have a nice visual representation for tweaking your case airflow and such.

I also have the GPU node from the same Link series. I bought it open box for $16, its also sitting in one of my spare parts bins. The only thing I recall about it was that IF you had compatible LED lighting you could manage, through software, to have the lighting change color or intensity to alert you to certain temperatures. Pretty cool gimmick.

If you buy one of the Link products check out the entire series because some of the options advertised only work if you have multiple components from the product line.

Great, that’s where i was going wrong i thought the Corsair H100 block controlled the fans but the button just does the pump, interesting! I have a fan controller already installed (left over from my last pc) so i could just connect then but how will i monitor the temps? On the cpu/H100? just use the normal temp monitor or put a sensor on the radiator?

Yeah the button just controls the fans.

Yeah just download a software monitoring program like real temp and you will be able to monitor your cpu temps. Heres a link for real temp:

You should be able to monitor temps with that and adjust your fans to your own liking smile.gif
