So I'm running my 560 sli out of an ocz 850w.

I have 2 molex pins to a pci-e, then that pci-e going to a dual pci-e cable and finally into my second video card.

Do you think there are significant disadvantages of doing this?

an 850w psu doesnt have Sli pcie cables?

those molex to pcie are kinda sketchy.

I would check OCZ's website just to check where that 850w is going. If the molex rail has enough, then you're fine.

I imagine this is what is needed. Unfortunately I don't know what rail is utilized at the moment.

What I was wondering is if I'm moving from 1 pci-e pin to a dual on the next cable isn't that choking the current effectively utilizing only 1 pci-e cable on the card?
