Help removing corrupted files.

Thread Starter
The other day I had to reformat my slave (data) disk. I used Acronis True Image to make an image of my "D:" drive and then did a reformat. I then reloaded the old drive image and everything seemed to be fine.

Why did I do this??? Long story.

In any event, the image restored successfully EXCEPT for 4 zip files that won't open, move, copy, and more important erase. The presence of these "dirty" files invokes an unscheduled chkdsk at every boot. I know I can get around this in the registry, or I could copy everything from the data disk to my system disk (except for the four bad zip files), reformat, and copy my data back, (pain-lots of stuff).

B4 I do that, does anyone know of an easy way to remove corrupted files in a direct way??

I ran chkdsk /r and the problem still exists.

Any clues would be appreciated.
