I forgot to run CrystalDiskInfo to see exactly how much the host writes were for the initial set-up but used space on the SSD was around 100GiB after all was said and done.
All SSDs slow down as you fill them up but I reckon as long as you have enough free space so it doesn't have to erase pages while you're writing, you should be fine.
Thanks rep + to bad my C300 cant handle that, 0.7xx write latency ms is to much for smooth demanding installation.
So after like 80Gb, i got the cursor loading thing, and the system become un-responsive for like 3-5 seconds at time, then you can use it, then again same and so on....like when you put CPU in prime95 at full load with 90% ram, (custom FFT's) its similar thing.
When i get my 840 pro, all of this will be past, you know it sux, when you got mid end/high end system to have issues of this kind, even its rare to use the pc like this, it does bother me alot.
Did you get any
delay during this intensive tasks, or it was butter smooth and responsive same like your not installing at all?
