Getting back into folding, any resources I can read up on?

With the weather cooling down I'm contemplating getting back into folding. I haven't really touched folding much since CC due to how ridiculously hot it gets here in the summer + electricity bills. With the several month gap, I'm wondering if there's general stuff I've missed out on, like AMD GPU clients suddenly skyrocketing in performance, or neat tweaks to get more power efficient PPD, etc. I'm not looking for guides but just general resources for news and updates regarding folding. My clients are gtg as I had them working just fine prior to going on a hiatus.

Probably one of the bigger changes is that the V7 client is recommended to be used with CPUs as before it was only AMD GPUs. It enables you to get really high point netting units smile.gif

Back with a new issue:

Any time I stop the clients from folding that specific client becomes unresponsive. If I restart the machine, I get stuck at connecting to localhost, but I've also tried to manually input the 127.0.0.1 IP. The only solution thus far that has consistently worked is to do a full re-install.

I'm running the V7 client in Win 7 64 bit.

Looking around hasn't really yielded any helpful solutions.

Going to do a re-install and see the folding progress in the morning.
