Is there an auto OC tool for dx79si + 3690x?

Hi, Is there an auto tuning OC tool or a tool that has Auto tuning in it for my
dx79si with a 3690x processor
I just wanna be carefull for it's my first OC trial

Up the multi to 40 and manually put vcore to 1.2v. That's a real safe Overclock for a 3960x. Make sure your load temperature are below 80'C at all times.

good, will try. but still is there any auto tool for that. the last xtu version doesn't allow autotune

Well Autotune will be more dangerous because it will use silly voltages anyway, so there is not much point.

gREAT GUYS, THANKS.
Working for the last couple of days with the Turbo Boost Monitor 2.6 and it works nicely
went up to 3.8. will do for me now.

You can run stable at 4.6GHz. With the DX79SI & i7 3960X. Do a google on overclocking the DX and 7960x on youtube.
There is a safety feature in the chip that clips the current and the voltage. I OC in the bios, but you might try the " Intel Extreme Tuning Utility".
Its easy to use.

Use only BIOS for any overclocks. You CPU will go up to 3.9 anyway at stock clocks, if only 1-2 cores are stressed. smile.gif
