Can a 120 Hz Monitor be able to run 60 Hz also?

Thread Starter
I just need to know if any 120 Hz monitors can also run at 60 Hz. The reason for this is because I livestream and I cant get the full 120 FPS in some games while streaming but I want to switch between the settings for the 120 Hz setting when I'm not streaming and 60 Hz when I am. Anyone know?

Yes, you may be able to underclock it using the Nvidia control center.

What games do you streaming?
Under advanced monitor settings you should be able to cap your computer at 60Hz. Not your monitor though- but for streaming then should be fine.

Is that in the Nvidia control center or would it be a monitor menu item?
