Whats your favorite cooler? - Page 2

I'm diggin' my TT water 2.0 Extreme (liquid cooler-closed loop).
I would say the closed loop cooling, after dealing with all the hassle of my current water cooled setup, and comparing temps vs a closed loop all in one, id say they are king. Also, with what they are doing to video cards with antec 620/920 coolers, its quite impressive

Heather Grey and Ebony Heather Grey! Oh wait you said cooler. I like my Custom loop although I have a antec Kuhler 920 on my other rig. I like the rubber tubing over the plastic piping corsair has.

I have found that to be the best, although its not for everyone.

I also deleted my system32 folder because I am running 64bit, it sped the computer up tremendously.

CPU air cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212
120mm fan: Gentle Typhoon AP-14
Water cooler: Either an XSPC D5 variable kit, or a custom water cooling kit with XSPC radiators, BitsPower fittings, Durelene tubing, and I used to say EK blocks and reservoir ... but now you couldn't pay me to buy anything from EK again.

I have 2 i5-2500K systems running on air cooling with Hyper 212+. They are both OC'd to 4.4GHz and run 24/7 doing Folding@Home. The CPU temps are currently at 56-62C at 100% load. They each have an EVGA GTX 560Ti that is OC'd to 900MHz. That too is folding all the time and is sitting at 69C.

My i7-2700K is OC'd to 4.8GHz and also Folds 24/7. It runs at 55-61C. That one is water cooled using an XSPC RS360 radiator and D5 bay res kit.

My i7-965EE is OC'd to 4GHz and has a pair of GTX 580's OC'd to 900MHz and while Folding runs at 66-70C on the CPU and 50-54C on the video cards. That has a custom water cooling rig.

Air coolers: Thermalright Silver Arrow (This things awesome)

Water cooling: Really no real favorites as there is loads to great gear to choose from. (Special mention Nexxos Extreme radiators. Great bang for buck)

Fans: I like my xigmatek xlf-f1253's. There performance is only average but what I really like about them is the look's and price.

Also IMO pretty much all AIO liquid coolers are crap.

Edit: fix

I absolutely hate closed water cooling systems. I do not understand why people like them. Unless you seriously like the way they look, then there are air coolers that will do just as well, and if you are seeking REALLY low temperatures, then you should choose a full water cooling loop.

As for my favorite cooler, it would probably be the NZXT havik 140mm cooler. It looks good, it performs within a few degrees of coolers that a lot more, it still says quiet, and it can fit in most cases.
