Sometimes you just need to take a break.. Even if its a year or 2 or even 3 or 4.
Growing up, i played a ton of video games. 16 hours a day, no problem(on occasion), But when i turend 20. i just kind of dropped off, nothing really interested me any more.. I was tired of the drama that was always associated with them and the feeling i would get from knowing i played them too much and didnt really gain anything constructive for doing so.
That and it seemed like games were the same things, just with better graphics, which ive never put too much stock in. (good) graphics are great, but gameplay and good games are much better than the graphics, imo.
I am now 27, and ive been getting back into them, and have been for about 2 years, on and off.
The one i like the most, is League of Legends.. its a great game.. but i took about a year break because 90% of the people are terrible at the game, and i always have at Least 1 feeder and 1 leaver on my team, and its just pathetic. People need to realize they are just bad and either not play (and ruin my time and everyone on our team) or play bot games, or at the very least... tell people how bad they are, before the game starts.
But to get back on point.. just take a break man.. Wait till you are so excited to get or play a game that you feel like you are a kid again, during christmas time.. If that doesnt happen.. then you probably need to wait even longer.. Take a break so you can miss and appreciate games and what they have to offer.
