I feel like Apple is trolling their user base sometimes with the 'features' they put into their iPhones. Some of the things they introduce are just plain illogical from and end user perspective but make sense for Apple from a profit perspective.

No removable battery? Pay Apple to replace it.
Back scratched easily? Buy an extended warranty or case from us our have us repair it at your expense
Not enough memory? Upgrade your entire phone

I can actually foresee Apple releasing an iPhone with a micro sd slot, but not until they make their own cards which they sell at a premium and charge other manufacturers to display an Apple certification on their products

And am I the only one that would much rather have a slightly thicker and heavier phone that incorporated a larger battery rather than them trying to make it thinner and lighter all the time, I felt like I was going to break my friends iPhone 5 when I first picked it up.

They best way to test it is to download a black image or cover your camera lense and take a picture, now view those black images at night.

This crap is seriously starting to become annoying. I mean honestly... My droid 2 did this, is it really that big of a deal? Anything to bash a company I guess.

Is this only at full brightness? I can't reproduce what you're talking about.

the issue isnt a single issue, the issue is that there are at least 12+issues with iphone 5 that are fairly common and the fact that apple tries to deny them and push it onto their customers

the issue isnt a single issue, the issue is that there are at least 12+issues with iphone 5 that are fairly common and the fact that apple tries to deny them and push it onto their customers

The other issue is that nobody cares about this trivial stuff. Seriously. I've physically handled 20+ iPhone 5s so far at my job, not a single one with scratches, or screen issues. I've seen no map issues. I haven't tested camera, but have not heard about any issues with them from anyone that I know that has one, and all the reviews of the phone seemed to have no issues. Battery life sounds like its fairly normal for a 4G phone.

Bottom line is that most people are seeing no problems at all, very few people seem to be seeing some minor issues, and of those very few people its likely that only a very small amount of those even care. Every phone I've ever had (I've owned about 11 phones now) has had issues, only a couple of those were serious enough that I actually cared enough to contact anybody about, and these issues you guys are whining about for the iPhone 5 are TRIVIAL and not even on the same level.

The tech community has turned into a bunch of whiney brats in the last few years, sometimes I'm embarrassed to be associated with it. The kinds of hardware issues we had years ago were much worse, and I can't see complaining about crap like a small scratch on what is now a more durable phone, or a green glow that is a fraction of a second only on wake, etc.

These are first world problems if I've ever seen them...

Ah yuck. I can't imagine if that were to expand around all edges/further into the screen. Gonna love the look on my co-worker's face if I test his out and see that it has it though. He's the all "Apple is perfect and God tier quality" type.
