[TR] 'Stop-gap' way to get Linux on Windows 8 machines to be issued - Page 4

Some blackhat will find a way around the MS BS, and then we'll use that method for installing Linux.

Until then, it will give me great pleasure to tell people, "Sorry, you bought a lemon of a computer, and there's nothing I can do to help you fix your problems. Avoid Win8 in the future."

This does not prove your conspiracy theories in any way, and shows that Microsoft is willing to work with Linux distributors to make their OS work on a Secure Boot enabled system.

As I said above, there are already methods of disabling Secure Boot, on x86 anyways. ARM is locked down, but someone will find a way to root/jailbreak, same as they always have on Android and iOS. I don't see why Windows RT should be treated differently.

I still don't see where it says money was exchanged.
