If I go for a 2560x1440 panel will I still get a decent framerate in WoW with everything on ultra? (Keep in mind that I will have a 1920x1080 secondary monitor) atm I get a steady 60 with vsync on, (using an ASUS GTX 680)

Also any decent 2560x1440 IPS panels? Am willing to go up to 27" but no bigger due to limited desk space

A 680 should have absolutely no issues running WoW at 2560x1440. However I don't know if 27" 2560x1440 monitors really fit in your budget. Any name-brand monitors of that size and resolution are going to be at least $600 and up. The only exception to this are the Korean monitors on eBay, if you're willing to take a chance at one of those.

If you want a smaller IPS, there's always the Dell U2412M (1920x1200) and the Dell U2312HM (1920x1080).

Are those Korean Catleap monitors a risky bet then?

I just ordered a Crossover 27Q. Hopefully it will have no dead pixels or anything, it's practically a steal at the price it's going for on ebay I think anyway. :-)

Edit: heres the link: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CROSSOVER-27Q-LED-P-Perfect-Pixel-27-DVI-LG-S-IPS-QHD-2560X1440-16-9-Monitor-/120926760460?pt=Computer_Monitors&hash=item1c27cbee0c

I have both an ASUS 27' IPS and an ASUS 27' 144Hz TN Panel.

- I use my IPS for general use: Web browsing, editing photos, reading etc..
- My 144Hz TN panel is for: Gaming, Movies and anything else dealing with fast motion.

At 24 inches or less, the BenQ is a good choice for gaming. Keep in mind your FPS, Frequency, and Input
Lag all play a part in the overall out come of your smoothness and picture quality.

120Hz will be noticeable over 60Hz regardless. Be sure to use DVI-D, not HDMI.
Even HDMI 1.4 cannot transfer the proper signal strength for PC.
