Beats By Dr. Dre Studio's or something else?

Thread Starter
My budget is $299 of the Dr. Dre Beats Studio and I wanted to know if there's anything better for the same price or slightly cheaper.

Do not get beats, anything but beats.
Some other good headphones would be Sennheiser 380 PRO's that heave much better sound quality and are also cheaper.

For gaming, movies, or music? Or all 3?

Audio Technica AD700's are all you need for gaming.

If you want something with thump base you could check out the closed back AD900's I have been told they have much more profound bass then the 700's but i have never tested them. AD700's are the best for gaming though.

2nding the ATH-M50's, they're awesome. Beats are crazy OP without the quality to go with it.

First, we need to know what kind of music you listen to and what the uses will be (music, games, movies, etc.) before being able to make a recommendation. Without that, any recommendation will most likely be a bad one and you wouldn't want to waste 300$, would you? wink.gif

Beats are over-hyped.

A good $99+ pair of Sony studio headphones or equivalent will match any $199+ Beats.
