That would mean around $260 for the 8350......

I really hope it at least beats Sandy, so that the price can be justified.

think you read things wong mate the 8350 is gonna sell for 199 bucks and if bulldozer was only sub 5% slower than a 2600 on single threaded tasks and vishera is supposed to be between 10% to 15% faster more if you look at trinity which is already better than its bulldozer counter part then we should have a really healthy looking chip and in england its £40 cheaper than an intel 2600s (locked version i think) so about $60 cheaper in america. it should be the best BANG FOR BUCK proc.
ps i put i think coz im not sure what letters mean on their intel side too much lol
post #4 of 15
More than 5% slower single-threaded than Sandy. It was slower than Phenom II dude.

Even if it was 20% slower in single threaded which it isnt you would have to get 100 fps for you to lose 20 fps so surely it would do good to put the money id save from not buying intel £100 or more depending on the site on a graphics card like when I went from my hd 4890 to my 5890 and got an extra 80+ fps in most games I wasnt even going for pefect % but its somewhere between 5-10% plus I dont need to buy new motherboard as I have a 990fx and I dont need new memmory even if I did need them I can get more features and a better motherboard for cheap and triple channel memory costs more and plus all fx procs are unlocked and are fairly easy to oc and one last thing steamroller is gonna be on am3+ too so even more savijgs

Wow they've lowered the price twice now and they haven't even launched yet xD I'm seriously considering the FX-8320 at this price.

there is even speculation here in the US that they will launch under $200.

Now I don't know if they will be more expensive across the pond but that would roughly translate into 153 for you over there if they keep the same kind of price relation.

Rumored to be equal or less than 200$. Do you have to pay vat for overseas purchases?
