ps i put i think coz im not sure what letters mean on their intel side too much lol

bd was like a v8 with 50horse power...lol

Sorry to burst your bubble but it's more like 35% slower in single threaded.

I don't know about the UK, but here in the US at Micro Center the 2500k is only $10 more than the FX-8120. On Newegg I believe the difference is greater, however, for games the FX is still a horrible value.

Intel users don't need new motherboards or new memory either lol. AMD doesn't support FX on older motherboards anyway so the backwards compatibility point makes no sense (except to those fortunate enough to have a 700 or 800 series board that got a bios update to am3+)

Intel doesn't use triple channel memory anymore. Triple channel memory doesn't cost more. You don't have to use all memory channels if you don't want to.

AMD motherboards are not a great value anymore. No one cares to make good ones.

Steamroller is not confirmed to be on AM3+ and I sure as hell hope it's on a new platform.

I'm pretty sure Steamroller was confirmed by AMD to be on AM3+, and that it will be the last one on AM3+.

I agree with everything you said but, I am pretty sure the statement below is true however I am not happy with that I want a new chipset as far as steamroller goes. It will never be worth crossfire as long as the 990FX chipset is around.
