Dual monitor positioning:D

Hello Guys,

I just got an ergotron DS100 for my dual monitor.

May I know what is best approach to positioning the monitors?

There are the following factors to consider:

1) +/- configuration on ergotron
ref: http://www.ergotron.com/Portals/0/tp/G/DS/888-33-304-W.pdf

2) Equal position or major minor position?
ref: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/2-main-positioning-approaches-dual-monitor-configuration/

please share your preference and post reference material if possible

Thanks

You got a quad mount for two monitors?

Anyways, bolt the monitors to the mount, put it in front of your chair on your desk. Done.

I'm still not sure what you're asking.

Are you talking about the position of the monitors on the stand? Like having the monitors side by side or one on top of the other? Are you talking about where the monitors will go on your desk?

Regardless, everyone has their own monitor preferences and there is no "best." I like having my monitors side by side, but it won't work out for everyone. After all, you're the one with the monitors and stand, see what works best for you. No one here can do that for you.
