While the units themselves are near-flawless and the best that the industry has to offer, oh god their cables are so stiff, difficult to bend and apply custom sleeving to :S

Is it the insulation or the actual copper itself?

edit: First it wouldn't let me quote anything, and now it won't let me edit my posts. Server error, server error. What's going on OCN?

My only wish is for Seasonic to do what Corsair has done and offer pre-sleeved cables in different colors. Or atleast, make them black all the way through!

Call me picky, but this ain't cool:

Too stiff eh? Resoldering all new wires cut exactly to length, and sleeving would be a really fun mod. Now I just need to kill my PSU so I can justify a seasonic lol.

If for some reason I ever feel the need to replace my x750 I will be looking at these ( but likely there will be 2 newer models than this by the time I replace it). I'm hoping my 750 will handle my single or even dual card needs for another 5 years.

Don't X-750's come with 5 year warranties lol? Mine did tongue.gif

750w is enough to comfortably run 680 SLI with overclocks on everything, and seeing as how stuff is getting more and more power efficient I'd say we have nothing to worry about thumb.gif

(unless GTX780 is a true monster)

Ran two 580s and a i7 920 @ 4 ghz on a Seasonic M12D 750 watt, and we all know how power hungry those things are wink.gif

Is there an ETA for the 400w platinum fanless to be available in stores?

Doesn't say what the increase in efficiency over gold is. So, I don't see the point (yet?).

at 115v, gold needs to be 87%, 90%, 87% efficiency at 20%, 50%, 100% load. Platinum is 90%, 92%, 89%. Better to wait until we get some good reviews of these, so we see what they can do at a realistic temperature, rather than the 25ªC 80plus tests them at.
