Your welcome. Well, we also plan on having the PSU bar for the ST10 so you could run 480 Monstas top and bottom with out giving up all your bays.

I tried to get a 480 in the front, but it was a no go only by about a half inch. If you were really die hard to do it then you could remove the fan on the bottom right of the Alphacool rad, and then it would fit.

I can tell your using the drop-in mount, but can you use the none drop-in mount and turn the radiator around where the G1/4" holes are facing in the back. Because it seems like you have enough room for fan controllers up top.

You have a keen eye my friend thumb.gif I am using a drop-in mount. The drop-in mount is off-set to one side (like you probably noticed) and in this pic the rad is set as far to the left as possible (which is what you want to get the most room in the front of the case). On the non drop-in top it is centered, so IF it were even possible this set-up would be the ideal situation for any bay device. However there is just no room for any bay devices with a 480 up top.

When I was looking at the measurements of the ST10 before it came out. I was thinking that ST10 depth measurement should be the same length as the SMH10, IMO.

@Jim or Kevin

On the caselabs website for the ST10. The option for drop-in mount, should there be another sub option for choosing 120.4 or 140.3 for the drop-in mount?

To me, it just seem a little confusing choosing drop-in mount but you dont get a chance to choose radiator size for the drop-in mount.

Like the Magnum cases, the Merlin cases are extensions of each other (except the SM5). The T10 uses the same front and rear chassis parts as the TH10 and the ST10 uses the same top and bottom as a SM8. This is done for a few reasons, but mostly its manufacturing related. I can completely understand why some people say you should have done it this way or that way, but trust me when I say we thought about it. With 12 cases models now available (not to mention Pedestals) we tried very hard to have enough variants to fit everyone's needs, but no matter what someone always wants a "13th".

That's not a bad idea. The only thing is that many times people get the drop-in mount top chassis with out the drop-in mount to go with it. We may give that some thought rolleyes.gif

if its the SM8 there will be more room in the ST10 smile.gif

and to me it looks like there is plenty of room if you dont want ANY optical drive tongue.gif

That is a ST10

Here are the two cases next to one another
SM8 on the left ST10 on the right (same type of setup) They are not to scale

Hmmm you guys should make an ST8 then (the ST10 with a sm8 tray) because that rad setup is sexy although I would run the rad at the bottom so that fresh air comes in at the bottom smile.gif

>> edit you might even be able to do a twin PSU mount on top and bottom like the STH10 with the extra room wink.gif
